Abstract: Generally, vibration generated from various sources (engine, road surface, tires, exhaust, etc.) should be considered in the design of a car body. These vibrations travel through transfer systems (drivetrain, suspension, body, etc.) to the steering wheel, seats and other areas where it is affect the passengers. The desire to increase comfort in both ride and quietness of passenger vehicles is receiving increased attention. This paper presents an approach vibration analysis in both selected vehicle Proton and Perodua. Measurement point such as dashboard, steering, seat and engine have been selected as those related directly to operational testing. The output depend variable are amplitude, R.M.S, and acceleration which have been considered for the measurement. The objective for this study was to find the vibration sources in a passenger vehicle compartment using LMS SCADAS Mobile analyzer. All the performance and operational of vibration technological were approached to monitor the conditions of the vehicle part. The properties data gain from the analysis would be analysed by LMS Test.Xpress.
