Abstract: High Performance Computing has provided the most interesting platform in the quest to solve high computational problems. Several factors have been identified that can be the focal points for enhancing current computing capabilities where improving the machine capability by multiplying the number of processors to solve a massive problem is one of them. In this paper, the issues on parallel computing using single board computer (SBC) are discussed. Programming on parallel machines has also been recognised as a difficult task. Automatic (or semi-automatic) software tools are needed to help programmers in performing the programming tasks.
