| Abstract: | The paper discusses the factors which determine the
losses of induction motor. The loss mechanisms are
described in this paper and it is related to the
performance and design characteristics of induction
motor such as the operating flux density, the motor
speed-torque characteristic and finally the motor
efficiency using Opera 2D software. |
