Abstract: This project in its present form is the result of studies for manufacturing process of rotary valve for motorcycle engine. The initial idea was to develop new technological process of manufacturing of rotary valve. Technological process includes next steps: to choose the type of metal; to choose form of a work-piece; casting process; to establish the technological basis; to establish the types of machine tools and machining regimes. This project is to develop technological routes for machining necessary surfaces and to establish metal cutters. The result will be the metal that should be used and the processes that needed to be run in order to manufacture the part. This result also should be the overall idea of how to manufacture rotary valve for motorcycle engine. The manufacturing processes included in this project are turning, drilling and grinding process.
