Abstract: This paper studies the reliability of the power supply when the source consists of a combination of solar energy and a small hydro installation. Such solar hydroelectric power plant (SHE) use renewable energy source exclusively, a combination of solar and hydro energy is needed to secure the reliability of the supply. Using the battery to store the energy extracted ensure the continous energy supply to the system. This system achieve full independence of energy supply to the system without having connection to the regional power network.
