Abstract: In this study, the influences of some crack parameters on natural frequencies of a cracked cantilever Functionally Graded Beam (FGB) are investigated. A cantilever beam is modeled using Finite Element Method (FEM) and then its natural frequencies are obtained for different conditions of cracks. In this article first of all, the FGB with one crack is modeled and the effect of depth and location of crack on its natural frequencies are studied. Then number of cracks increases to two, and the effect of their locations and depths on natural frequencies are analyzed again. Finally it is shown that the obtained results are calculated with good approximation.
